Ye it was a good album well written good machine gun riffs we missed and better deeper lyrics it was the metellica the band missed after yrs produced wel by rick Rubin. It'd really hard to compare to their first 4 but that's was amazingly close to where they left off

I’d pay money to see the band react to this

My Apocalypse with these vocals would sound incredible.

This is exactly note for note how I heard Death Magnetic in my head when I imagined what it would sound like with 80's Hetfield vocals!

Man this is beyond amazing! If you do the entire album this way, I will never listen to the original version anymore, I will listen to this version

I think another part of what's happening here is it's showing just how aggressive his '08 vocal lines really were. It's hard to tell sometimes because of how bone dry they're mixed, but he was really shooting for the fences on DM, putting his all into it.

If you do the full Magnetic album i would be so happy. These are just great man. Would be cool if you could do more Modernallica stuff, the Beyond Magnetic EP, Hardwired and 72 Seasons too. But first do DM.

Unfortunately, I think it is difficult to find the isolated vocals of newer stuff, to begin with They prob extracted these tracks from Guitar Hero, hence the lack of loudness war

@@SilviaVanna isolated tracks for every song on death magnetic exists, they were part of the dlc for guitar hero metallica. i have them all downloaded

@@SilviaVanna I'm aware of that, but nowadays isolating vocal tracks is way easier because new AIs are doing great job. I used one called Moises in my phone and it's pretty cool, it lets you isolate every instrument and the best part is that it sounds decent unlike older methods like audacity where it sounded with bad quality.

KZread started playing this and I just blindly listened to it. I was convinced I was listening to something from "AJFA..". Then came the realization lol. Excellent job. Also, a testament to how good Death Magnetic is.

Now we just need the AJFA guitar tone, although I really appreciate the DM guitar tone, but it would sound better along with the vocals.

I would put the guitar tone of AJFA, and the 1988 vocals, but I would keep the bass and drums as it is here, i'm not a fan of the mix of the drums on ajfa, and surely not a fan of the mix of the bass on ajfa.

My god this album should've come out after Justice. At their angriest.

I had many dreams 4 years ago that you could use the old James Hetfield voice to make the most unbeatable ajfa type of music. All this is mising is the tones and the drums from ajfa and it's the perfect band

Idk why so much people don't like James' voice in the 2000s. That's the one I grew up with. I love his singing voice, no matter what era. But this AI cover is honestly really damn good.

@@BoxCarBoy12 I literally cannot see what makes his 80s voice better when he just growls instead of actually singing. AFJA has awful vocals, mostly cause of the mix, and Black Album has some of the worst perfomances in Don't Tread On Me and Through The Never, his 80s voice wasn't perfect.

And the sheer presence of all these AI covers reimagining new Metallica songs with his old voice and their warm reception show that most people agree with me

Metallica should revert back to the old method of recording. All the small things that made it so hard have been left behind.

I gotta laugh because I always bitch about Metallica since the St Anger. Because for me if James kept his early singing style and he still used his Mesa Mark IIc+ for the guitar tones Metallica would be so much better.

Changing the guitar and drums tones to old school Metallica would complete this. I love this song, but hearing old school James with the new drum and guitar tones just makes the drums and guitar sound like shit. I guess I'm just an old guy and I want MY Metallica back!🤣🤣🤣
