Geiler Startersound. Mein Opel GT springt auch so schlecht an. Ich brauche immer so 20 Versuche, bis er kommt.

Did you apply full choke before you attempted to start it at all? I would have cranked that engine over constantly until she fired & not do any pauses at all & when the engine did eventually fire I would have given it some good hard revving as well to circulate the oil quicker & get the battery charging!

@@chawildheart sorry for my bad English. Mechanical part of the engine that mixes fuel and air. Commonly used on cars older than 1990, its all electronic fuel injection or EFI for short now in new cars. Carbs are still used on mopeds, lawnmowers etc smaller engines because they are simple and cheap to produce and dont need any electric to be able to, well mix fuel and air. I have -89 saab 900 with carb, just got myself a volvo 740 with mechanical fuel injection, Bosch k-jetronic or was it ke-jetronic. Anyway, EFI is todays technology, carbs were used much in the past when there was no such thing as EFI
