1987 US Open Dave Schultz vs Nate Carr

Before winning a Bronze in the 1988 Seoul Olympics Carr wrestled this match against Dave Schultz. Carr also won 3 NCAA titles defeating Kenny Monday in the finals.

    Wow!! They didn't even look like they were in the same weight class. Dave has to be one of the smartest wrestlers to ever do it. Way ahead of his time

    Nate Carr was a great, gold medal winning American wrestler, and Dave opened a can of whoop ass on him like nobody else ever did before.

    If mma was around back then he wouldve slain in it.. mark schultz pounded out a legend in his debut and he wasnt even training anymore at that time.
