Been waiting for this vid. I love old box trucks from the 70s and 80s. There is something so gorgeous about the simplicity. I always wonder how something so old could look brand new 40 years later. At any rate, if I didn't have my 96' bronco, I would've picked up this truck's cousin last summer when I drove past a house with one for sale in excellent condition. Same color and trim.

Never would have expected that dual tank setup. Interesting.

Fantastic truck. In the early 1990s I was driving in my old Galaxy 500 up Flatrock Road in Martinsburg New York on the Tug Hill Plateau and coming down the road was THIS TRUCK. Three big pollock farmers with guns coming back from Somme illegal hunting were inside. They pulled close enoug to me that I couldn’t pass and continue up the road. They wanted to know where I was going (I was on my way up the hill to a piece of property my family had for many years) they didn’t recognize me. I guess they thought I’d be intimidated but ALL I COULD DO WAS STARE AT THAT BEAUTIFUL TRUCK. The left after I told them what I was doing but I’ll always remember that truck... and here it is!!! Wowowow

In my opinion Chevy had the best looking color combinations in the 80's and 90's. Especially Z28 Camaros and trucks.

I'm 61 and bought a new 2012 Ram express 4x4 single cab short bed silver HEMI. I plan on keeping it till I die as the price of new ones are out of site. I figure if the 30 year old trucks are sought after now mine should be when I'm dead. NICE TRUCK.

Awesome truck I also have a 1987 chevy silverado short box k10 350fi with every factory option including dual gas tanks - bought brand new with all the paperwork But my truck has --- wait for it 490 original miles mine is also black & grey but grey on top & black on the sides if this is worth 59k mine has to be more ( :

Great looking truck, had one pretty much like it, Hey not sure where you grew up, but where I am from everyone had a 4x4, so when you say in 87 not many around, shit even though GM is not releasing the production numbers, there were a few hundred thousand of them made, in that body from 73- 87, 87 is the last year for the square body.

That’s exactly what I want!! But I definitely cant afford it.
