@@WoutMusic With some good marketing, there's a lot to sell. And it's not just old single fisherfolk like me. Take your dorm room to college with your transportation attached. Go to your daughter's wedding and then visit other family for the weekend. Volunteer in a disaster, and not worry about sleeping on a gym floor. (The Air Force could load about six of them on a transport to disasters in the boonies.) But as a single person, the privacy visiting family would be nice. My medication and other mendicants are out of reach for children. I would have my familiar items all in one place, from shaving gear to my personal coffee mug. A place I can retreat to when loved ones get on your nerves, or you get on theirs.🤣 No need for a rental car to run errands as these guys only use a single parking space. Good gas milage, unless you're one of these folks that wants the scenery to just be a blur as they speed to the next tourist trap.) There's so many uses for an efficiency apartment on wheels that it boggles the mind. But not at the $USD50K +++ price range that new ones are commanding. And the the fees and shipping on older imports, plus the paperwork hassle, makes this a hard task to profit at. The exact reason I checked out of the whole rat race to begin with. 😎👍

Can't figure out why Americans are always getting screwed... Consumer used to drive demand... Now, mfgrs. cater to elites... Example: Did away with mini pick ups, small cars, etc. GM makes an EV in China with AC, PW, PL, etc., for less than 5K... We'll never see it here... The do-gooder over regulators will see to that... Dems have turned America into a joke!

@@mobulusmoby3864 People don't get it, American politics is the old "good cop, bad cop" manipulation. Republicans and Dems take turns screwing the working man. Trump came with "Drain the Swamp" and all he did was increase the water level Biden had a "Chicken in Every Pot" plan that's turning into another dud. The house always wins.

I really love the "old school" layouts & style SO much more than the newer vehicles. They're SO much more homey/cozy & spacious - they don't TRY to impress because they don't have to. They're already functional & seemingly more roomy. What a find! TFS!

Yeah, the old style is so much more natural looking and home-y. Also for some reason it seems much more rational, too. This one has an almost perfect use of the space, no weird gimmicks.

Well said. These older ones have more character than modern campers. I have seen videos where they rip out a perfectly good interior just to follow the latest colour trends and they never look as nice as the original.

we have a 1993 compass drifter ducato with the u shaped lounge at the back, just amazing. it's a real 'home from home'

For 35 years old this thing is beautiful, great shape, a true camping classic.

This camper is 16'3" long, that shorter than a large SUV and you have a small house in that space. That is impressive!

This is the first time I’ve seen a spare tire under the hood. That’s awesome

That is not a good idea because of the engine heat eats up the rubber and caused it to break down faster. That idea did not last!

I saw one just like this in mind condition last week, real classics.

It is perfect. Adorable, and has everything you need. Oh to dream of owning one. Never find anything like it in the states. Love it and thank you for sharing.

WOW! like brand new.I had some ingenious space saving ideas like the bathroom sing being able to tilt up and the dining area chairs each fold down to make the bed

For a van that’s 35 years old, it’s a great design and in excellent condition.

I like the design for the curtain that block the top overhead cab. I have a 1993 Toyota Dolphin and one of the main issues we have is the curtain between driver cab and rear as well as curtain for top bunk. Always gets pulled down and breaks fasteners holding it up. I bet a duel purpose rig with a rod like that would do the trick well!

Looks nice as long as it has good ventilation, the buzzer buzzes when the keys are in the ignition and I won't have too much of an issue clearing out the interior to build a...science lab.

This is excellent in size. I currently looking for a motorhome that size. Unfortunately the new ones are extremely expensive. An older dodge or Ford type would be great but probably would need massive amounts of restoration, . Eventually I'll get one and fix up and camping,
