In this video, we're excited to reveal this 1987 Buick Grand National we built for our good friend Dave Fiscus.
Dave is a fan of Buick Grand Nationals and owns four of them. He bought this 1987 Grand National as a rolling chassis and wanted to build it into the best possible x275 car. The car was painted by Boy Knott's Auto Body and has a one-piece carbon front end, carbon hood, carbon doors, and carbon deck lid. The car also has a real Buick Grand National V6 and It has an 80 millimeter Precision turbo.
This car has undergone a complete transformation and is now a high-performance machine with show car like looks that's ready to hit the track. From the custom-built engine, paint job, to the modified suspension, no detail has been overlooked by Jay Bird and the rest of the crew.

Top notch. There’s no reason a race car can’t look like a show car and this proves it. The attention to detail is unbelievable. Especially in the dash. Even the stitching where the upholstery came together was painted in. My first car I drove was our family Grand National. So watching this video brought back some good memories. One day there will be one in my life again.

The craftsmanship of this car blows my mind. I enjoyed watching all the videos of the build leading up to this point. You guys should be very proud of what you have built!
From this moment on every single new race car should be built to this level of detail. Seriously it oughta be a law. I'm blown away at the quality, innovation, craftsmanship and 15 other adjectives to describe the bad-assery going on with this Buford! Had to do a major edit. Walked around this car yesterday...and it looks EVERY BIT as good in person as it does on this video. Incredible work, and I think you guys absolutely did it justice. I'm glad for Dave's stubbornness about the v6, too! 😂 Seriously, the thing is what dreams are made of. Awesome job, guys.

This build is soooo good. Love all the details like the pedal faces. I always think about doing little stuff like that. But I’m always torn if it’s not “functionally needed” but seeing the end result of this gives me motivation to do those things that are purely for cool factor and looks.
