2:40-3:20 were my nightmare fuel in my early years. Not that Mark Elliott's voice scared me, but the abruptly loud music and vocal entries and unexpected swooping in of a logo freaked me out as a kid.

I know exactly what you're talking about. For some reason, I can remember all the way back in preschool, they'd show a lot of Disney movies, that opening note and Mickey flashing on the screen can be jarring with the lights off especially if you're a little kid.

I am much younger than us like early 2000s young. Just hearing the sound from the logo I can tell that as a kid it would’ve freaked me out.

0:04 Okay, I have a question. Did these things ever give anyone else nightmares as a kid? I remember always having to hide from this opening for years because it would scare me for some reason. Maybe it was the deep synth or Mickey fading in from the darkness... idk, but I always felt like he was going to crawl out the TV like the Ring girl and drag me inside. At least, that's what happened in my nightmares.

You missed the PAL variants. On an opening of a tape from the UK, I saw the usage of both high pitched and regular pitched version of the logo in the same tape!

I am looking for the 1981 Walt Disney Home Video logo on Italian VHS tapes which at the beginning shows a VHS cover on a wooden table and then opens up to reveal the normal logo. I can’t find it anywhere!

I noticed you still have some variants missing. Some of these you uploaded (German, Dutch, Japanese). There are also some in Hebrew, Portuguese and French which were uploaded later.
