Wow, almost the exact same truck as mine. Mine was delivered November 1985 a few differences, you have a cargo light and the quartz clock mine has the 4speed 7004r transmission and the electronically tuned stereo radio and the sliding rear window rally wheels and white wall tires. it has been garage kept on a lift most of its life . Needs a headliner everything works like the day it was delivered. The olny change was that I installed a tachometer and fuel gage from an earlier blazer

I'll be washing my 1976 c10 stepside here soon and it was very interesting to see what a difference it made on the truck in the video. My truck has some rust spots and such so I'll have to be careful not to get any water in the cab but I already removed all the carpet and such so it's not that big of a deal. Also my truck has no floor pans haha so the water will just drip out anyway. At some point I want to repair or replace all the destroyed rusted parts but it's extremely expensive and I need to learn how to weld so I can do it all myself to save some money. Right now I'm just focusing on getting it road worthy so it stops sitting around. It can look pretty later 😉

Had one this same year in bright red with a 305. This sure makes me miss it. Was a great truck. Love the Sprayaway products. Their tire shine, exterior shine and polish and SI02 are all great products and very affordable. Keep up the great work.

Good work on this. Cool that the owner was willing to pay for the detail despite having more in-depth plans. Would be great for a weekend hobbyist. Could avoid a full restoration with the right touch-up techniques but it wouldn't be perfect. I've never seen an inset rear window like that. I wonder what the purpose is. Ended up being a moss shelf.

Just a tip of advice! you must be VERY careful these trucks had Abestos infused hood insulators! Oh & I love it when someone hand washes their classic vehicle goes to show their pride & JOY! Black is the hardest to keep clean! Like my Show truck in my photo. Great job!
