The official color for this car with WA8525 is Yellow Beige. According to records, this paint was used on Cadillacs from 1985 through 1987. I have to agree with the seller that this color makes this car. I'm not normally a fan of the 1986 transitional model Fleetwood Broughams but this car is neck snappingly beautiful. Hope it went to a good home with someone who will treasure it.

My grandfather had this year Fleetwood Brougham in the exact same color back when they were new. I don’t recall, but his may have been a d’Elegance. I later owned a 1986 Fleetwood Brougham d’Elegance myself, but in the light driftwood metallic color, if I recall the name correctly. It was a solid and reliable car. The 307 has to be tuned right and then it runs with sufficient power. The 307 gets a bad rap for being slow as many old ones need some TLC, and though not a race car like you said, they are pleasant for normal driving if running right. Unfortunately rust eventually got it, but I replaced it with a 1989 version.

My dad had a 87 white whith blue bought it in 95 for 4500 dollers it had 42 k drove it entail 130k whith only putting brakes and tires and oil changes and one alternater air was good for hole it was one of my faverite caddy

The nicest look i noticed u talked about the hood a lot the 84 with the hood strip that look soo good and they sould of just kelp putting that on

I had one just like it which I sold about 5 years ago with 99,000 miles on it - an ‘86 Fleetwood Brougham! At 59 years old, it was one of the best cars I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned many. Mine was the same pristine condition as this beauty, but not the same color. Mine was a light-medium-blue metallic with the same color vinyl roof, with a dark-blue velvet fabric upholstery, thick luxurious blue carpeting…the interior was like new throughout. The engine ran smooth and strong and the ride was all Cadillac: like a ride on a cloud! Whoever gets (or got) this car will be a very happy and satisfied driver. BEAUTIFUL!

@@southerncadman7066 I had forgot to mention in my comment that another difference between this yellow beauty of yours and the medium blue one I had was that mine had the 307 Olds engine. Either way, the ‘86 Fleetwood Brougham by Cadillac was/is a luxury-liner cruise ship built for the road! Thanks... Actually, 1986 was the first year Cadillac used the 307, so the yellow car has that engine.

The color is the only difference between our ‘86 Broughams -and yours having 34,000 less miles on it than mine did when I sold it. And mine was low miles for its age at 99,000. Lucky is the buyer of this butter-yellow-cream-dream of yours Mark. That is some car!

Gorgeous yet another example of an original car that was fanatically stored & maintained. My issue is the selling Dealership's badge affixed to the trunk. Why'd the owner they allow that -- so many times on these older immaculate Cadillacs? If I bought that new, it wouldn't have been there, especially something metal riveted into the sheet metal 😮

Thanks foe the comment. To ease your mind, the dealership badge is on with tape like the emblems, so can easily be removed. My opinion is that at this age, it is part of the car’s history.

Another great post on a great car. Still miss my 89 BROUGHAM DEELEGANCE IN silver with plush velvet tufted interior. Too late for me, but someone grabs this beauty and cares for it as the grand monument to traditional OTT Cadillac elegance, when Cadillac was The Standard of the WORLD for Luxury vehicles! 🏆

I miss my mine 2 i had a 89 and driving it in vegas with the ac redone peaple always new that was my car they called it the war mac8ne because i always drove it whith that ac on all the time so peaple al2ays new it was mine it was moroone whith valer god i miss that car rode better thane eny 70s one i owned

The vinyl top was structurally in good condition, just faded, so I dyed it.
