Johnny O'Mara (33 Honda) wins. Also look for Rick Johnson (18 Yamaha), Bob Hannah (25 Honda), Heinz Kinigadner (1 KTM), Jeff Ward (22 Kawasaki), Mark Barnett (19 Kawasaki). Heinz would go on to win his second consecutive 250cc World Championship later that summer.

This was the first I watched this vid. I realized and appreciate the racing then is far + away better than now. Once the track was butchered (for the four strokes) I never went back. 86 1/2 cc 500 husky + 90 mx 500 ktm.
