Who ever put this trucks look together for the movie absolutely smashed it out of the ballpark. I think it’s so cool that the movie is universally loved all over the world.
Nice job, 🇬🇹🇬🇹🇬🇹 greetings from Guatemala

Thankyou 😎👌🏼
I was 21 when the movie came out. 2 weeks later I went and bought one. Now it wasn't black, mine was the Desert Tan no black on the wheels I bought for it just straight chrome. Really loved that truck, I had it for many years. I sold it after it hit 300k mi. still was running great. Also still looked good, I lived in the same city in California where the "Twin Pines Mall" was ( Puente Hills Mall ) I remember seeing the trucks for filming in the parking lot during the day. To be 21 again. Thank you you brought back many great memories.
I love this truck. I love that you are making loads of 1980s cars!
I have this pickup truck for 2005 to 2016 it's an beast ride.♥️
Truck turned out amazing. Steering wheel finishes it off nicely.

Heath - that’s an amazing build. I’m actually in the process of doing the same, only to a first gen 4runner. Obviously no lightbar in the bed. I’d love to get the specs on how you did the front tubes. Thanks for any and all help!

Awesome truck! I'm looking to build a tribute truck myself. Where did you source the front bumper and roll bar? I have a rear for it but seems to be I may have to fab up the others...

I really want one! How is the speed because I heard the diesel engine is great, but it's slow compared to other engines. Great for towing, but not for someone who likes to speed up on the freeway

This one was a 2.4L petrol - it was pretty slow for normal highway driving But the cool factor made it tolerable hahaha
I hope you can find a prob replica of farmer hoggett’s 1948 Morris commercial lc3 truck from the babe the pig films

Hey, love the build series! You did a great job. I'm working on building a first-gen 4runner right now. Curious as to what you did with your Aussie spec 4x4 steering wheel as you put the US spec one on. I'd be interested in buying it if you still have it and you're willing to sell it. Let me know. Thanks!

Love the ute mate. I have a US spec 1988 regular cab and want the McFly wheels like you have. I looked at these US Wheels on Jegs www.jegs.com/i/US-Wheel/947/94-5812/10002/-1 but it says the center bore is too small for my ute. Do you have the part number for yours or can you tell me where you got them? Thanks in advance, and congrats on your ute.

@@HeathsGarage thanks for replying. I just looked on their site and they have two options with our bolt pattern, so I am guessing they no longer stock what you bought or the Aussie spec Hilux has a different center bore to my US spec.
