No matter what went wrong in their lives, they both really loved their kids. Both parents delighted in them, regardless their thoughts on each other. Its very sad how it all turned out.

Children of that age do not come to that conclusion on their own. I'm not speaking negatively about toddlers - I am stating reality. If you're of the opinion that toddlers have a fully developed sense of self (and thus can have empathy for others), that is your opinion but it's not in line with reality. If you don't like that children of that age don't have a developed sense of self (and are essentially sponges for what their parents say and do), you're the one who doesn't like toddlers and wishes they were mini adults... But it's just not the case.

As a guy, I can tell you why they are at loggerheads. Guys and girls are different. Guys will have a full-on fight, and try to kill each other, but will be having a laugh and a beer twenty minutes later. They get it "out of their system". Women hold a grudge and it will carry for a long time. In my experience, 9 times out of 10, when two guys fall out and become estranged, it is because of a woman. In this case, I think it started with Kate and Meghan not getting along. Each brother then feels compelled to defend their wife. William and Harry fell out because Kate and Meghan fell out first.

Harry's mouth & wild tales is causing the divide. It doesnt seem that Harry will be stopping anytime soon. Harry has confused brotherly rivalry & competition as being a spare. It's a normal activity amount many regular households.

Their relationship as a family was wholesome fr. The love between Diana and Charles faded away with time. But the couple still love their children to the Moon and back as it's visible. It's tragic to see how everything turned out but RIP Princess Diana ❤

The PRINCE & PRINCESS of WALES have/ had always LOVED their sons!! KING CHARLES III takes his GREATEST JOY in his children & grandchildren just like his parents did!! It is SO CUTE how playful he is here with his baby sons.

She was a very troubled young woman and if you had actually read any well researched books about them you will know Charles was at his wits end trying to please her until he felt like he was being completely consumed by her demands. Read a book... dont just repeat a ridiculous false narrative that Diana was perfect. I loved Diana.. I still think she was an amazing woman... but my word... she was a nightmare to live with. Extremely self absorbed and demanding.

He was trying to get his attention for the camera. The more I hear about and see of Charles with his children the more I believe he was a good father. Just because he wasn't a hugger didn't mean he didn't love his "dearest boy". So sad.

​@@sarahwagland1559 Diana said herself he was a wonderful father. And there are plenty of pictures and videos of him hugging his boys. That night Harry speaks of Charles will have been in shock. Though they were divorced, they were friends. And I do think he loved her. Just not in the way the world would have liked. The photograph of him in the car when he was collecting Diana's body was the same pain we saw after his mother's death.

This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen in the world. ❤😢

I remember this! I used to have a copy of it on VHS.

It's only a short clip but you can see what a caring mother Diana was. It's so sad she was taken from them at such a young age.

This was a very nice family if only Camila had been satisfied with Parker -Bowls

Charles and Camilla should have agreed to go no contact for everyone's sakes. It's very sad but they did the wrong thing and if they didn't know it then they sure do now. It's a shame Harry hasn't it in his heart to forgive. None of us are perfect.

I’m not a Royal fan, but I feel so sorry for all three of them. Not sure where and how things went south, but I think it wasn’t easy for neither Charles or William that Harry distanced himself and then treats his family like they were no relations of his, so they in turn have to reciprocate and carry out their public duties. I don’t know if it had anything to do with Charles or Williams’s actions, or just Harry not being able to deal with his trauma. Just very sad really.
