I was born in the town of Husqvarna in Sweden, and I have worked at the factory for many years. We allso made wapons, like pistols mod 70 and 40, both 9mm. We made hunting-rifles, shotguns, sewingmachines and many other things. I have taken many rides at all the Huskys motocross-cycles, and this 500cc is a badass mo--erfu--er, let me tell you ! I’m from US and always dreamed about working at the Husky factory or at least a tour of the place. I like the modern off-road motorcycles but LOVED all of my old Husky 2 strokes, especially my 1984 WR500.

About 20 years ago or so I used the motor/trans from my WS430 in a go/shifter cart. The thing was a ripper for sure and tried real hard at killing me BRAAAAP for life #brap4Life

I had a Husky 400WR Loved that bike. Single track to desert. Easy to ride fast.

No helmet? Almost nailed a car..smooth move exlax

Tor(Thor)was a consultant for developing this bike and Oden(Odin) was the superviser with his allseeing eye.

Does'nt seem like it has much compression or power ..

I have the same bike. The head has Pro Circuit engraved into it. Has a red AMA tag strapped around the frame. Scariest bike I have ever ridden. Bought it around 1990 from a painter that painted bikes. He said it belonged to Greg Torgenson or Torqy Torgenson and he raced for husky. I have no clue if that's true but again it does have the ama tag on it. Damn thing will rattle your legs and azz numb. Parts would rattle loose on it all of the time. I was so skinny when I got it I had to coast down hills to start it or be pulled. The compression is crazy. Climbed any hill in any gear. Scary bike.

Looks like he started it just fine though huh? It doesn't matter how you start whatever bike you ride, as long as it starts.The riding is the fun part anyway. Maybe you just stand around and start your bike over and over and never ride? Is it really bugging you that much as to the way he started it? Fuck it bro...just ride and enjoy!

@@ghostrider.13 See if there is a dealer in Woonsocket RI. He had a ton of old stock parts but that was years ago. I dont think he does Bikes anymore. try this www.husqvarna-parts.com/husqvarna_parts_home.html or ebay vendors have some parted out bikes

why? he did it because he didn't want it to fly off would be my guess. I suppose a helmet would have been the best choice but, the tiny little short ride he did to make this vid, I may not have put on a helmet for that either. just different peoples preference. Do you just not like seeing a person wear a backward ball cap? so much so that you "cringed" lol people are different, very different.
