What a nice square body! That crown vic swap is becoming popular. I did a front vic suspension in my dad's old 40 ford rat rod. Little wide but it made for a cool set up.

Back in the 70's and 80's rear bumpers were an option on Ford trucks so if you didn't order one you didn't get one kind of thing lol.I had an 85 F-250 with a fuel injected 302 and T-18 transmission(4 speed with granny gear)I loved that old truck.owned it for 10-11 years and did a lot of work to it.460 swap,new bed,doors,hood,fenders etc...I miss that old truck.She was a beast,got me through many blizzards of 3 feet+ of snow and never got stuck! lol

scrpion669 I have an 85 F250 4X4 Lariat with 59,385 original mile that i just picked up two months ago even though the bed and good is shot but it runs strong paid $900. for it but you can't feel a thing riding down the road all you hear is the tires and engine as you cruise down the road sits nicely on 33X12.5X16.5 TIRES and has a 351W in it planning on doing up a 1000+Hp engine with it so she will be (NASTY) when I get done with her.....

Nice!They really are good trucks,mine never broke down on me.but I replaced the ignition control module about as often as the spark plug wires.Those are notorious for going bad on the old fords lol.I was running 35" tires on the factory suspension and only had a small amount of rubbing on the front leaf springs if I tried to turn the wheel all the way to one side or the other.

l bought a 1980 new f150 it was gold, l had it repainted 1979 ford granada gold in 1987 it was striped of any forf badges custom bar chrome grill the tailgate looked like this one, I lost the truck in a divorce, l sure miss that truck!

Actually growing up i always saw old iron rusting in the weeds and being a poor kid from the country all i could think about was being able to just get those old things running with cools wheels and cruise the bleeding rust is how i remember falling in love with them this was back in the late 80s early 90s (when you had all those gay 1 color pastel rods with pro street tubs and stupid body mods that killed the beautiful bodys on those classics) i liked patina before it became a fad and people tried to reproduce it my 66 f100 has factory patina and im not changing it, tells its life story in the scratches and dents why try to make it something its not, a new truck
