Nice looking truck
1st gens dont have the dash problems like 2nd gens do
I’ve had my 1990 D 150 33 years and it doesn’t have a dent in it. It’s clean as it get however I did repaint it. Satin black. I’m keeping it till I die so I’m not worried about it not being original paint besides, it looks great. I’m 63 had it more than half my life. Guess I should do a video. 🤘
Great looking old truck are you doing any follow up videos on it?
Just curious, how many hoses blew right off? My D150 sat for the most part several years. At this point, I'm replacing all the hoses. It also looks like someone removed all the smog crap.
Nice truck
I don’t know why but mine has a V8 badge on the front fender and I can’t seem to find any other ones that have the V8 Engine badge
This is the closest I can find to my truck, a 1985 Royal se prospector long bed d250, but the colors are inverted on mine. I haven't found any others with the blues inverted like mine. Mine is beat to hell though, only one body panel is undented, rust all over, holes, you name it.
I had a 87 w250 that looked just like this, except when I got it it was wrecked so I had a front clip from a 79 d100 on it. It looked kind of offkey but it sure turned a lot of heads.
My mother had an ‘83 just like this…same color scheme and all, even the same aftermarket rims…i dont think it was a prospector though
what is the numbers on the dash (7168) for with Mph underneath it?
I'm bettin its got more then 93k miles on it. I have the same year Prospector and I can tell you for certain its got 300k on the original motor.
What a sweet truck
Pretty decent ol truck.
Engine size is stamped on the side of the block, right below exhaust manifold. Drivers side
