It is literally making me cry to listen to this after so long. I played this tape to death. I would listen to it and draw the Millennium Falcon, lightsabers, Ewoks, etc....And still, after all these years, I knew every little sound effect and bit of narration before it came. I searched it out after showing Return of the Jedi to my daughters last night for the first time, to huge success. THANK YOU for bringing back this little yet huge piece of my childhood!!! My heart’s full!

I had this on a small record as a kid! I remember listening to this SO MANY times! This is a true delight to hear again! I also realized that the voice cast from these read-along recordings were also used in the "Mission to Ord Mantell" story! I recognize C-3PO's voice actor perfectly!

Man, I had this when I was a kid. We didn't have a VCR until probably '88 or '89. This is one of the few ways you could relive the movie. "Heroes, together to the end..." well...crap. If only my younger self knew what the Mouse was going to do with these beloved characters in the future!

It's been a long time since I've listened to this, and I never caught it as a kid, but they definitely used voice actors from GI Joe here. I am certain that Arthur Burghardt is voicing Vader, Lee Jeffrey is voicing Lando, and B.J. Ward is voicing Leia, as I can clearly hear the voices of Destro, Stalker, & Scarlett in their performances.

TPTB will never allow movies of this calibre to ever be made again. The film is spiritual. Good triumphing over pure evil. No Star Wars films ahould have been made after this. The movies were just way too popular to sit on the shelf so they gave you Star Wars Lite in 1999.
