Been a long time since I've found a Lakewood. Stumbled across this one and couldn't pass it up.
This is a Lakewood model C-122X manufactured in January of 1983. It's among the later small box fans that Lakewood would produce. This fan is in excellent condition with no broken slats on the guards and no dust in the motor. These are very quiet fans; almost inaudible on low speed. Makes a perfect bedroom fan.
At 1.1 Amps this isn't the most efficient fan out there but one cannot argue with the longevity. 41 years old and still working like brand new. The new fans are lucky to last 10 years and are much, much louder for less airflow.
