Wow, the siphon breaks through the outlet when the trapway gets obstructed. Kohler really did'nt do to well on this one.

Yeah, not impressive.

It's not a lot better than the Wellworth Waterguard from the same era - the performance is quite bad (it ONLY passed the washcloth test, failing on the rest) but I do like the long 'Double Siphon' flush and the bowl clearance is actually very decent with good bowl rinse too. It is just the suction power that seriously lets this toilet (and the Wellworth Waterguard) down - Kohler finally managed to correct that issue when they introduced the new 3.5 Gal Wellworth in the mid 1980's. 6/10 because I like the flush and it did alright on the rinse/clearance test. *Did it 'Triple Siphon' on the end of video flush?

I have the Wellworth version of this so I'll do some tests on that and see how it goes.

It did the same as the Sterling with the washcloth and the grocery bad the only difference is it overflows

Yeah

Over 1 1/2 minutes for a clogged siphon jet test flush that is extremely long

I expected way better. Very disappointing. I bet the 1979 barrington could destroy this toilet. Although i still kinda like this toilet.

It does look similar

I just don't know why they failed with grocery bag and washcloth and the dirt test was amazing and the performance is not that great but the flush is amazing
