1981 DeLorean with 977 Miles Found in Barn

A 1981 DeLorean sat in a Wisconsin barn for almost 20 years. Not only was this DeLorean in prime condition with its original tires, it had also barely been driven. Since 1981, the engine had only racked up 977 miles. The iconic DeLorean will forever be associated with the "Back to the Future" movie franchise. The Delorean Motor Company was an American manufacturer that opened in 1975. By the time the first "Back to the Future" movie was released, the original owner had gone bankrupt.

The headquarters of DeLorean is in a small town called Humble, in Texas, next to the intercontinental airport. They still recondition and sell them there. It's the largest DeLorean dealership in the world. Humble was also the home of Humble Oil Company, now ExxonMobil, and also Texaco, and is also the birthplace of Howard Hughes.

No one thinks that the new DeLorean reminds them of the original DeLorean, except the gull-wing doors. The reason why Hyundai N Vision 74 looks like the original DeLorean is because N Vision 74 is the remake of 1974 Hyundai Pony Coupe that was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro who later, designed the original DeLorean. This is one of the biggest reasons why many DeLorean fans love it. It has a huge connection with the original designer. Now, if it came with gull-wing doors, the transformation would be complete.
