I worked on the Trading Estate in the 70s and I remember it pretty much as shown in the vid. I believe all the red-brick buildings and old warehouses have now been demolished.

Whatever happend to slough. I grew up there in the 90s to early 2000s. I left school in 2004. Since then it just went down hill. Now there is like only two shops left in 2024. I think the big Tesco on the a4 has not helped the high street at all.

Slough was very brown/beige back then.

Work on the Trading Estate. As for Slough it’s self , the town centre, nothing the RAF couldn’t sort out with a bombing running.

Didn't know there was a power station in Slough with cooling towers.

If you want to know what Slough looked like in the seventies, then go there now.

Wow, when watching this video, you can tell they tried to make the place better but judging today they've given up.

Full of Eastern Europeans and Muslims. All the English have left as with Hayes and Hounslow.
