how long have you been skating for? i started in 2016 but learnt with the wrong techniques and quit, then restarted at my current rink in july 2022
what level are you competing at? adult women silver in the upcoming season (bronze last year)
what camera do you use? iphone 13 pro + canon g7x mark ii ( i'd love to get a gopro this year )

Hey Kristy. Finally a utube about this camera. Thanks. I bought this a week ago, like you, when I saw the price had been reduced (it's back to 300 now). I had investigated all the big brands, but wanted an action camera that didn't require phone set-up or constant verification. I wanted image stabilization and easy transfer of pics via usb to a laptop and it had to be able to handle rain and snow without a case. This camera, although far from perfect, met that criteria. The first unit had to be returned because of a faulty microphone. JB were great. I've made a lens cap for mine, by cutting down a soft plastic chair leg foot. The cons. The microphone is not great and there isn't a spot to plug one in. The colours can be a bit flashed, and btw folks, there's no built in flash. The pros. It's solid, but vulnerable. It's so cute you want to cuddle it. LOL. I picked up the Zero X Tripod Grip to go with it. Works a treat. I'm putting in a request to JB to ask that they stock the batteries. Oh, that's another pro - this company does have an australian website which is a big plus for a low-end camera. Hope you enjoy it. Cheers matey.

this is such a great review thank you!! yeah i noticed when i watched the footage back that the audio wasn’t great, and that was without the casing. i think this will be more for montages where i put music over the video as opposed to talking shots. hope you enjoy your camera too, and thanks for watching my video!!❤️❤️

no, SD cards come separately. this macbook just comes with an in-built SD card reader

Thanks :) I just brought it but I haven’t opened it yet. I was tossing up between this cam and the akaso brave 7Le, same price point but akaso is US brand and I’m worried it wouldn’t be able to be fixed in Australia if anything ever happened. It’s my first action camera as well, but it’s not for blogging, more just for vacations/adventures
