1979 Blizzard 7500 plus (RV Chassis) was about 40 lbs lighter than the 1980 Blizzard chassis. Back in the day many dealers were installing the 440cc (9500 motor) in the RV chassis. It handled like a dream. Nice Sled. The ole 340cc rotory valve engines had quite a history in oval racing.

Nice sled . Wicked sound like no other..no stock 340 was faster

those 340's sounded so good. nothing like the twins today, & factory pipes.

I agree I really wish I kept and restored it.

Nice find. Hard to locate those in decent condition...usually they're beat up pretty bad. This one looks pretty good.

Any advice on straightening the skis?

I had 1982 blizzard 5500 . Guy I buy my Blizzard he have Blizzard 9500 and 5500 I buy 5500 cuz 9500 was very hard starting sled . I was thinking motor my have air leaks that why it was hard to start . 5500 cold start 3rd or 4th pull ,9500 could take 20 pulls are more get it to start

Why did skidoo label a 340, 7500?
