With so many C10s and F100-150s it’s nice to see Mopar trucks getting brought back to life🦾🇺🇸

I am getting ready too tear down and restore a 79 w200 I had bought a 78 and the 79. Both w200 s not one is a macho thou these are great trucks and are worth saving I would put one of these up against any new truck on the market Best part you can fix them on the side of the road or trail.

I had one just like this. I was going to make it into A Mud Bogger. But sold it instead. Wish I hadn't!

Any tips about getting parts for these I recently purchased a 1976, and I'm gonna need to replace the radiator and find a fan for it, cause theres no fan in it now, which may be whybuts over heating. Also size battery should I use I think the one that's in there is old and too small. Rn it wont turn over but ibhavnt taken the battery out yet to see if the battery is fried

I believe we bought the radiator off of ebay. Most of our parts came from Napa and some from LMC, Hooker, Ebay and Summit. We even got some parts from donor trucks we found on Craigslist.

The parts for these trucks are a lot harder to find than parts for ford and Chevy trucks

Depends where you live. Big City/Larger (population) areas are more like to still have used parts. I bought lots of parts for my ‘74 W200 from a local Pick-a-Part self-serve junkyard. eBay, Craigslist, swap-meets, etc are other good sources. As for radiators, would think a brand new brass/steel radiator from a radiator shop should work well or re-coring an original radiator. Electric fans are Ok, but a good clutch-fan (conventional belt-driven) would be more reliable and (with a Factory shroud) pull more air. As for batteries, a good quality replacement correct for that model (auto-parts Store) should work. I prefer sealed-batteries as they are less messy and not as likely to destroy the battery tray or contaminate the battery cables at the terminals.

Take your radiator in and get it re cored. The after market is horrible for radiators for these trucks. Your local shop will be able to “re-core “ it

Those don't look like 1069 340 exhaust manifolds. You just shot urself in the foot man, that engine WILL NOT BREATHE. At least get a set of long tube headers. Trust me it won't run for shit.
