Owe a C3 just like this one except mine was black with the red interior. Miss that car when I watch videos like this one and see one driving down the road. I did a memorable road trip from Toronto Ontario to Vancouver Island with my younger brother during the summer of 1980. We had blast spending some quality time together for a period of 3 weeks. The following year I went with a friend in his 1976 Vette to Newfoundland. So I can now say I travelled from coast to coast in a Vette.

That looks so fun. I just picked one up, but I have to swap out the gearbox for standard because I want a sports-car, not some real estate ladies cruiser. I picked up a complete T-5 ready to bolt up for $300, very excited. This was a fun video to watch.

Sweet ride. Love the c3 corvette.

I'm just sad that when I can afford one of these, every other car is propably just electric, and these combustion engined cars are illegal to be driven. Like for real, yeah climate change is a real thing, but we cannot fix it with cars. The factories are the biggest problem etc. And recycling should be the no.1 priority, not cars!! We cannot destroy a big piece of history like this...

I've got an 81, and it's only about 190 hp, it's pretty hard to slide the rear out on the later ones due to the lower power outputs

120 max. These c3s are a bit slower from factory but that’s not to say that the 350 v8 has huge potential. You can make it have up to 450hp if you bore it and stroke it to a 383

I've got a mildly built 1981 Corvette, 350CI with an overdrive 700R4 transmission, and I get 20-21 MPG on the highway.
