I love this car more than anything else out there. There's one for sale near me and I drive by it every Saturday and sigh. Once I stopped to hug it and tell it that, even though I could never own it, I would always love it. Just the coolest car ever.

I had one of these until it was wrecked by friend in November 1980. I still have all my pics, the original tags from engine and other paperwork. I constantly keep looking for another one. Bought mine brand new from MidPark Chyrsler in Parma Hts. Great, great car and still is an eye opener.

The "360" was AWESOME! Probably the most RESPONSIVE 'ground BURNING" motors EVER to be made! The body/chassis was "good" for Chrysler cars "in the day"!

I had a '76 Aspen coupe with a slant six and a four speed. It was the same color and stripe combo as this car (except the stripe went under the rear side window). I really loved that car and would give anything to have it back .😭

I couldn't afford this car back in 1977 when it was first sold I had to get the basic Aspen coupe and add on the window louvers. Also had the old slant six but added a few more mods to make it sound and run better. Always loved these models but this was my dream car when I was 21.

Nice car, very sporty, I would say a modern muscle car, but with a lot of goodies going back to the Barracudas, Challengers,Chargers, why they never became as popular as the other muscle cars.

Very sweet Plymouth! All that Car needs is a MOPAR 360 crate engine, with a full compliment of forged hardened internals, with all the stock under hood accessories in place to look stock, but with a well hidden Nitros System so it has the really go quickly when needed to go with the totally stock looks.

Wheels on this Coupe are 15 x 7 Chrysler HD / Utility (cabs and cops) ...Correct are 15 x 8s, (as on sign board) with no hub cap bumps on center ring. Looking for a clean set of these 15 x 8 factory HD wheels. Used also on Road Runners in 1979...but never see a 79 without aftermarket wheels. Adding to a gently lowered 82 Cordoba, to color match (Gold) and gold line COKER radials.

That is a sweet car I had a 79 Aspen R/T with the 360 police engine with rear side louvers and back spoiler I got rid of the lean burn system it was nice but the super coupe is better

At least Dodge and Plymouth were still trying to keep things sporty with the 360 motor. By the mid '70s most companies had switched out their muscle cars to sedans and awful luxury cars.

Me being a MOPAR or NO CAR guy, this or the Aspen version is what I would have bought at the time if I was old enough. Too many Camaro's, Firebird's, and Mustang's out there.
