1978 NBA H-O-R-S-E Competition-John Drew vs Phil Chenier
Спорт
During the offseason prior to the start of the 1977-78 NBA campaign a 32-player H-O-R-S-E tournament was held. The competition featured many of the star players of the era. In this episode two players who have largely been forgotten faced off. For those that never saw Phil Chenier's sweet baseline jumper or John Drew slashing to the basket here's a chance to see them in action. No ownership of this material is claimed.

Phil Chenier was a very good player for a good stretch of the 1970s. It was a shame he got hurt in 1978 and Kevin Grevey had to take his place at shooting guard for the Bullets. Glad he had a successful career after his playing days.

Drew was a hell of an athlete as a wing player.
This is so damn great 👍
Two very good players! Chenier was probably overall better and more impactful but John Drew(RIP) wasn’t far behind at all, and he came through in this game of horse… out of those players who’ve participated in the 70’s, that I’ve seen, only Pistol Pete had more trick shots and such.
Сделали бы НБА в следующем сезоне такой турнир horse .по одному игроку с каждого клуба. Ну и финал . И попутно. Набор и международный турнир в horse По Данкам;)
Curry would crush this.
drew got a lifetime ban for ❄️
