219 actual miles!! This is an amazing time capsule, literally! It was stored in a sealed container from 1978- 2018. Cadillac announced this would be the last of the big Eldos. They offered this Custom Biarritz Classic as a last hurrah. A gentleman from Detroit thought this could be a great investment opportunity. He prepped it for long term hibernation by draining the fuel and oiling the rubber. It was then tucked away in a dry container not to see daylight for 40 years. No moisture or mice damage. The window sticker is still glued to the window. We have original license plate, finance contract, registration card
EXTERIOR: Incredibly well preserved, original survivor with no damage or rust. No door dings. The paint is the original two tone combination with factory pinstriping. Other than very minor imperfections it still looks new, amazing considering it's age. All the chrome and trim on the car is shiny and straight. The padded vinyl top is still excellent. The hubcaps weren't even on the car, they were kept wrapped separately. They are like brand new. The tires were just replaced. The rubber weather strips are still pristine. Glass is crystal clear.
INTERIOR: Amazing all original condition. And oh my God, you want to talk about luxury and comfort. I want this seat in my house. Pillow top leather cushions. It is a split bench seat with power on both sides and power reclining on the passenger side. I'm looking at a dashboard that is absolutely like brand new immaculate condition. The chrome sparkles, the clock is still working. It features a leather wrapped, tilt-telescopic steering wheel. There's no splits or cracks in the armrests or dash pad. Headliners, seat belts, carpet, floormats are pristine. It still has the original plastic steering wheel wrapper and plastic seat covers.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor compartment looks new. Very well preserved and it has been carefully detailed. All the components are still original. The air cleaner assembly has the ductwork and heat riser tube, original hose clamps, smog equipment is complete. It has the pump for automatic ride leveler. Runs as smooth as a mouse in slippers.

I drove and rode in a white And Red Eldorado back in the late 70s very nice cars but they only got about 8 miles to the gallon and they have a 35 gallon gas tank. Very nice example the color grows on you!

what a unicorn. and a beauty. the final special edition full size eldo...you see these come up once in a while, but none like this. always loved the coffee colors, in fact the base color is called demitasse brown. unfortunately the value in it is that it was never driven, so unlikely it would ever be driven now...will be the centerpiece of someone's warehouse collection.

My dad had a brand new 76 Eldorado. It was NOT sold for a while in dealer bc of the Fuel Injection 500cid. Ppl didn't trust anything except a carburetor. Turned out quite well, from 190hp carburetor to 215hp. Torque was 400. For the day, gr8. AWESOME highway traveler, mobile living room. I had a 76 Buick Electra Landau coupe fully equipped & he liked my VOGUES, I bought him a set, he claimed his ride improved. Still thirsty despite Fuel Injection. He had the Turbine Rims, instead of hub caps. 77 lost the 500cid. Came with a 425cid. I always wondered how successful these landyachts would have been with today's technology.

To put a car in to storage for long time and do not use it at all, its a very bad thing to do, a car should be use , run and driven 4 times a year .5 mile each trip, this is done to protect the mechanical part. But the condition of this Cady is nice,TH.
