I had three of these vehicles a 7778 and a 79 same 7 L 425 cubic inch with a 400 torque flight transmission this vehicle was faster than Corvettes and Camaros at the time and took off on them with ease even with an additional $1,200 lb wish I never sold them

I bought a really nice 77 in march, 1980, with 26k original miles. Like new in every way. What a nice machine. Wish I could still be driving it

Beautiful car. I own a 79 CDV and even German gas prices at 180€ per litre won't reduce the fun of driving this luxury car.

Except for those wheels, SWEEEET!

1977 Cadillac coupe deville.

A friend of mine has three 77 coupes with 10,000, 13,000 and 20,000 miles respectively. One red, two black. All are showroom new and totally original.

***** that interior iz amazing awesome congrats on the pride and value of ownership***** and yes the ac works weekends!!! thanks for posting this!!!! and if you put on snow tires and stock wheels and or hubcaps it works amazing in the snow if you know what your doing on non essential road trips to Alaska!!!!!!

That's a 77 unless someone went to great extent to make it look like a 77 and it's in fact a 78. Exterior all says 77, interior seat pattern is a 78. The armrest (driver side) shows it's been swapped. The 77 will have the remote switch lever for the mirror within the woodgrain bezel trim. And this has it, but also has the armrest for the relocation of this remote lever switch on the armrest itself when the 78 model came out. Otherwise, it's a clean coupe. 👌

I had a ’77 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D,elegant And the Grill, park lights in the front and the taillights and the interior door switches are all showing ‘77 Cadillac ! But it’s a Fantastic looking car ! What a great ride car !

I see your point, all too well (having owned a handful of 78-79 Coupe DeVille's in my lifetime)!However, the title says it is a 1978, Im going to have to dig deeper into this!

Let's hope not. Cops will take it away from you. In 2020, I bought a super clean low mile 2012 Toyota Camry from Anderson Toyota, Lake Havasu City, Az. Car was bought there new and traded back there, so I wasn't worried about buying a stolen or chopped car. I live in Calif. so it was an out of state purchase and needed a "VIN VERIFICATION" done by the Calif. CHP. I made an appt., took the car to the CHP. They called me to the window, I gave them my paperwork, the cop started to walk out to the car, I started to follow him out to the parking lot and he whipped around and said: "You can not go out to the car with me. You must wait in the office untill my inspection is complete". The cops don't want you/us (the public) to know "WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR OR WHERE THEY ARE LOOKING FOR IT". Sneeky bastards. Those Caddilac Coupe de Villes are badass!!! @@Rioletcab

@@Rioletcab the worst thing to ever do is put an alarm or aftermarket stereo in these type s of car --- aftermarket rims wheels or hubcaps specific to individual owner or mechanic preference are never a problem in our opinion!!! these cars looks amazing stock but there is a tonne of different style of mods? evident over the last 46 + years all over canada the states and even Japan !!!
