My 1977 Yamaha Enduro DT100. Bought this bike off my neighbour for a case of beer. It was in real rough shape but I put a spit shine on er and took er for a high speed pass.
Жүктеу.....

I had a red 1978 and I rode the hell out of it for several years as a teenager. Great bike that would run any road, trail and even climb hills and jump like a YZ. Man, I loved that bike.

Got a red one just like it, Christmas 1979. That engine sound is seared into my brain.

I was lucky enough to win one of these little DT100D's in a raffle back in 1978 when I was 12 years old. I've since found one with only 520 odd kilometres on it and purchased it off the original owner. It wasn't neglected but it did have quite a bit of surface rust which I've cleaned up the best I could and its come up pretty nicely. Its now sitting inside my house along side a mint little Honda Elsinor MR50 which was my first bike. Brings back some great memories looking at these little bikes. :)

It definitely was. I bought a 1978 brand new as my first bike in 1979. It was left over and it was just over $700. I had saved up gift money from relatives for years. The Yamaha dealership taught me how to ride!

i went to a property and they had this exact bike! i rode it a few times and i only went to 60kph before getting to sketched out, its in alot worse condition but it starts first kick and has little to no compression. surprised it still works as well as it does. does yours have a battery? The one i used had no battery and had to have high revs for the horn to work and it would not put out enough power for and lights to work.
