This particular clip is of the 1976 Winston 500, where NASCAR Hof Buddy Baker takes the checkered flag in his Bud Moore Torino for the 3rd time making it three straight at Talladega, Baker won both Talladega events the year earlier.
Like Bakers first win of the 1967 National 500 I uploaded only a small part because the full race is available on NASCAR'S website on their official "Classics" page and will hopefully make its way to KZread in the near future.

Thank you for watching, I was extremely disappointed hearing Ken passed earlier last month, had to at least leave my condolences on NASCAR'S tribute video to him. 🏁✌️

Wow! Great video! I remember that race. Baker came oh so close to winning four in a row later that year but Dave Marcis beat him on a gas mileage play.

That's too true! Buddy Baker was always my favorite driver, even to this day, but as a Dave Marcis fan as well and a big Mopar nut at heart, I was just as happy to see an underdog like Marcis roll into victory circle in that iconic bright red K&K Dodge Charger

Yes...I don't know if anyone had done that. I think maybe Dale Jr. won four in a row at talladega. But I heard it was a bad pit stop that cost Buddy.
