I used to own an R75/6 and this brings back many fond memories! I may be wrong but I think that gas tank is from an R90. The R75/6 normally came with a toaster tank. I also recall the stock exhausts being straight through pipes, not bent up like these. Anyway, it's been a couple of decades so there you go. Thanks for the video!

I believe that there was a recall on the front rim. I say this because mine was replaced on a recall. The updated replacement has gusseting around the front hub.

Paul G. Yes a recall on front rim. Mine cracked hitting a pothole. '78 RS, in '82. BMW wouldn't honor recall. $280!

Although some parts are not original, looks great and sounds good. Have a R 90/ S in my garage. Silver smoke, 1976, matching numbers. Greetings from Europe, the old world, Switzerland. I' m a swiss citizen, swiss and german origins. Please give me an answer...
