I had that same bike when I was sixteen I paid 650 for it it had 10,000 miles on it moved to San Diego two weeks and it was stolen I really loved that bike thanks for the memory

Looks just like the 250 we picked up not long ago ours had been in storage since 1989 with 5k miles on it. 😎🤘

Had one of these back in 1980. Put rd400 front-end, swingarm, mags and engine with DG pipes jetted out with k&n filters, plugs one number hotter NGKb8es, that bike was so fast he used to blow away Honda 750s. So basically it was a 250 with the tank side plates when I was beating all these big bikes they would say no way that's a 250. Lol

I’m going to restore it to factory standards. I have a 1976 Chappy that I did it to. It was my Dad’s.

did some tree trimming for a 75 rd 250 last week...is it true you can put rd 350 cylinders and pistons on a rd 250 with no internal modifications?...(same stroke?) it would be a real "sleeper" rocketship!
