1975 Renault 12 TL 1.3L
This video is review ON OUR WAY of old timer Renault 12 TL 1.3L. This car from 1975. has engine with 44kw (60HP).
On car fair in Paris in 1969. year Renault introduced Renault 12 as big family car. In first few years Renault has received praise from European journalists primarily for a spacious and comfortable interior and low fuel consumption. Renault 12 was also sold in USA where it didn't receive any positive critiques.
Renault 12 was manufactured in France in period from 1969. to 1980. in 2.5 million copies.
Except in France Renault 12 was also produced in other countries: Argentina, Colombia, Brazil (like Ford Corcel / Del Rey), Turkey (Toros) and Australia.
The largest number of copies outside France was produced in Romania in period from 1969. to 2004. under the name Dacia 1300/1310. (2 million copies).

My dad had a white Renault 12ts years back when I was growing up, he paid £50 for it at auction and drove it about 5 yrs, I dunno why but that car really has touched my soul in a way, I really loved that car, I myself bought a Renault 21gts in white but it really was a bad car, there is cars from the past that indelibly leave a tyre print in your psyche, I wish I was still that kid sitting in the backseat of that white Renault 12 ts.....

My grandmother use to drive me around in a green one of these here in Australia in the 80s and 90s.. I have fond memories of it, although by the time I hit high school I was embarrassed to be picked up in it with its unique but aged 70s styling and faded green paint 🥺😅 and would prefer to be picked up in dad's Monza Red 1979 Ford Falcon XD sports pack - which has been a lifelong love as I currently own a black 2008 V8 Ford falcon XR8 in showroom condition.. I'd not be embarrassed to own or be driving the Renault 12 today,, it's no XR8 but it's a unique car with nice interior and dash design and I have very fond memories of it 😊
Excelente vehículo. Muy cómodo, tracción delantera, motor longitudinal, muy común en los automóviles franceses, cuatro marchas mas la marcha atrás, arranque con starter en frío y mediante carburación. Muy bien conservado.
yes my dad bought one renault 12 tl too in red colour very nice 1974 model even new that time and i liked so much it was very very confortable going as copit or back sit personaly i think it was one of better cars ever we enjoy pleasurely for more than 15 years and never failed it was fantastic car till 1992 even i remember it lovely

I had a 74 r12. It blew the gasket and warped the head. It was the only car I've ever owned with a hand choke.

HI IAM AUSTRALIAN its 2018 ive got a 1975 avocado colour renault 12 gl wagon original would had a 1.2 engine twin barrel 32 dir weber carby ive put in a later R12 1976 1.4 weber carby engine both r wet sleeve engines (piston liners kit) liners very hard wearing go for about 550,000km (330,000miles) with out a rebuild 8.4L/100km (34mpg) assembeld in australia i luv the original glass expansion bottle & i drive it everyday i luv it i always look after it well

Yes I remember that glass expansion bottle, and the bonnet opening from the windscreen side straight back to vertical, your a lucky man, wish I had one...... Health to drive! 👍

As a kid I remember my father owned a Renault 12. It was an ugly shade of green, had no radio and I was often car sick in it...memories!
