That hunter green colour is the perfect wagon colour. Many years ago my father was looking for a wagon and a 1970 Chevy Kingswood Estate wagon was up for sale. It had this same color with the wood sides just like this one. It was well kept and it looked just as sharp as this Country Esquire does here. He bought a 71' but I have never forgotten that 70'. It looked as well kept as this one does. I hope whoever owns it has kept it this sharp. Im a Ford guy so you know Im loving this wagon. I specially like the hidden headlights, it gives this wagon an extra Lincoln flavour that make it look premium and top of the line. I also see it has the dual exhaust. I guess it must have the 460-4v motor. Super sharp! 😎👍

Yes, with the Country Squire wagon you got such items as the Hidden headlights but the 460 CI was still the top engine choice option. Sadly this car has the base interior NOT the upgraded Luxury Landau Interior which really takes the interior to a whole new level. That interior mimicks the Mercury Colony Park interior and brings it more upscale. Not sure who was the dumby who mounted that stupid fire exstiguiser on the back package tray. It looks horrible there and should have been placed in the under cargo area for better looks and safe keeping.

Love that car I sure wish those would come back. I hate this shit today.

The interior and exterior of this car is absolutely beautiful. The cheap-ass, nasty sounding loud exhaust is just that; nasty. Don't know why people think "old car, it has to be noisier"; what a ridiculous way of thinking.

100% agreed. That car did probably have the factory dual exhaust since it looks like it has the upgraded 460 CI motor. BUT... you can tell from the sound that someone put racing mufflers on that and it sounds horrible. Side note - the exhaust on these wagons exited the sides(one side for normal; both sides for dual exhaust option) to keep from fumes blowing back into the rear compartment if the window was put down.

What's with the 1910s-20s music for a 70s vehicle? yeah, they're cool classics, too bad the music of the time had no real use for anything relating to family life.
