Been going to seaside all my life. Growing up in New Providence, north Jersey we would spend the summer with my grandparents on Hamilton Ave.Loved the beach and boardwalk.Casino pier was where the big rides were.Swiss Bob , Zipper ,Himalaya,Sky Diver ,Ect …. The smell of sausage, Pizza is still the same. It’s the ocean and boards that bring you back.

I can't believe this!!! I found my dad & myself in the 60's promo and now found a clip with my sister Debbie, she is the little girl at 2:53 getting the pretzel. She would be 4 or 5 depending when this was taken as her birthday is the end of July. Our mom made that dress for her.

LOVE IT!!!! GREENROSETV!!!! I watched your coverage of the boardwalk fire, I was painting 2 bungalows in Ortley,But didnt go down their that day,It was supposed to rain,Around 2:15 I put my Seaside Park Earthcam on to see if it was raining and I saw smoke coming from the southside of the pier by the Sawmill, I zoomed in and saw alot of smoke so I called my friend who has a summer home down there to tell him,He told me I WAS NUTS, And started laughing until the fire dept showed up, I called him back and told him to put on the news, He wasnt laughing then,VERY SAD!!! I hope they rebuild FunTown Pier and Jack n Bills!!! Anyway YOUR VIDEOS ARE THE BOMB!!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!! Spotswood RICHIE!!!

@@christopherhoppp8979 I grew up in Seaside Park 1966-79. Started surfing at 7 years old and prayed for hurricanes as a kid so we had waves. We had many hurricanes, Hurricane Belle, Hurricane David etc. Hurricane Sandy was just a 1-100 years intensity category 5+. Hurricanes can come ashore north of NJ/NY and slam into New England. best ones for waves is when they park offshore 200 miles and pump waves without any onshore rain/wind.

I love going to Seaside and Wildwood Crest. I have family live that lived in Point Pleasant. I was 10 years old. And then Sandy game and took my aunt's mother-in-law and father-in-law's house and threw it in the ocean they had nothing after Sandy. But that's true people from New Jersey are strong and they come back stronger

I didn't like salt water taffy except to look at all the colors. My favorite were the nickle falls and the shooting gallery with the piano player. I loved the sound the number wheels made when they spun around. Tick tick tick tick...tick....tick......
