My 1st car was a 73 Mach II. I saved $500, making $4.25 an hour at Publix & bought it. I wish I had a picture of it. Watching your video sure brought me back to 1996 when I was 16 & in that car. I could've used a good ol "carboroster" cleaning, too! Lol 😆 thanks for making a great video, sir.

I've revived a few efi vehicles from 15-20+ years of sitting. Sensors and whatnot don't really go bad from sitting as long as the hood has been shut from the elements. As long as rodents haven't gone crazy they'll usually fire right up. Almost guaranteed the fuel pump is dead and tank is rusty, but that's typical.

The rocker nuts will loosen up over time and cause a lifter tap sometimes. If you pull the valve covers while it is running and loosen each individual nut till it starts tapping, then tighten it 3/4 of a turn or until it stops tapping, you can fix it sometimes. If it keeps tapping even when fully tightened you can get a slightly longer push rod to compensate and fix the problem. Nice car. That's the grande model. I have a 72 coupe with a 302.

Simply amazing. That's the difference on what human been was capable to built in the past and the chesty things we manufacture today. I had a Toyota Land Cruiser made on the 75, and still had screws on it that had that brand new color from factory.

You're a damn fine mechanic and a awesome story teller/ KZreadR. Keep on keeping on! Loved it 👍🏼. Thank you sir for the entertainment and all the best to you.

I find the smell of fuel, exhaust, and sweat arousing. Keep on doing what you do and I'll keep on watching. Nothing like a man that knows his way around an engine. 😘
