1973 Ford LTD Lowrider with Crazy Graphics at SEMA 2015 - Eastwood

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Not the typical car to restore and customize, but Rudy Sandoval of Groupe Car Club and painter Danny D definitely got it right with this 1973 Ford LTD that was on the cover of Lowrider Magazine!

We found this cool lowrider outside by Car Crazy at SEMA 2015 and knew our fans and customers would want to check it out. It features hot hues basecoat, hot candy and Cromax Clear combined with an insane amount of graphics.
The suspension is courtesy of Mario’s Custom in Montebello, California. They did a full aircraft setup with 280 pumps, four stainless Adex dumps, 8-inch cylinders in front and back, a custom tank, and all hardlined. Everything is either polished or chromed. Check out the trunk which also features tons of graphics and chrome. Rudy rebuilt the factory 400 V-8 which is connected to the stock transmission.
The paint and body mods were done by Danny D of La Puente, California. All trim, moldings, antennas, and emblems were shaved. The awesome paint took about eight and a half months to complete. The front clip is from a ’76 and the trim is from a ’74. The Grand Marquis bumpers and grille were shaved and blended and it now has electric doors and an electric trunk.
Eastwood has everything you need to do the job right when you're restoring your car truck or motorcycle - welders, plasma cutters, paint and paint guns, soda and abrasive blasters, hand tools, metal fab tools, rust solutions, powder coating supplies, specialty tools and more. Since 1978.

Went through all that trouble for that paint job it needs Lincoln Continental Mark 5 side mirrors, badly needs a front bumper tuck. And where is the hood ornament? I sure hope it has power windows. How about a power trunk release button in the glove box is that there?

Someone doesn't have to go all out and butcher a car's original design in order to customize it. As the example here in this case where you see that the person that did the work on this car decided to swap the original model year face for a later one. That shit was completely unnecessary and the car would still look a lot better aesthetically if it had it's original face and the car could still be customized but that doesn't mean you have to do dumb tasteless shit like this in order for such. I would've kept the car's original face if I did the custom work to this car and I personally find the style of chopped tops on cars to be hideous and an abomination as well as this face swapping shit here.
