We had a 1970 399 with electric start. It was a tank, both in it's overall weight, and it's reliability. I was only 7 years old when we got it so it was a handfull to get unstuck as a kid. The only repairs it ever needed were broken boggie springs, and broken steering kingpins. It was still running into the 90's.
