Love the Buick GS cars, especially with the Stage 1 455. Very nice example.

Went with a buddy to a football game back in the late 70s he had a 1970 GS, when we left the game at the end in the in the parking lot sat a GSX we waited for the kid who was on the team. Buddy asked if he would race. Guy said yes but wanted to go back home and get his brother inside the garage sat a Stage 1 and a 2 brother pulled the Stage 2 out the 3 of us got on a highway and got left behind quick by the 2 then the X pulled off good memories.

Incredible car,,, Great Honest description. if the Aussie dollar was back at 0.78 U.S the price is good. unfortunately we are at 0.63 U.S and makes it hard to buy until its back up. possibly early 2024. Beautifull colour,, The Bank Managers HOT ROD, who needs a NEW Corvette or 454 chevelle this car has it all.

Love it. Could live without the rear wing. I really like the style. Motor sounds really good also. Seems a little timid for a stage 1 . Granted in 72 they were slightly detuned, and also has a.c. which adds about 100 lbs. Plus belt drag if the comoressor. May have some hifhway gears in the rear axle also. 308 .

Black vinyl tops are nice. I would've left it on this car. I had a 72 Buick Skylark with a black vinyl top.

Buicks are the one Auto Manufacturer that was known for their vinyl tops. Ot was a Buick thing. Sign of luxury over performance. Which that was hard to do, with the torque these engines made. Well over 500 lbft. My Mothet owned a 71GS stage 1 with a 4 spd. Same color with black vinyl top and black buckets and console. It was a super rare optioned car. I was like 5 or 6 when she parted with. Bought new in 71. I was born in 69

Nice, but it's not a Stage 1 without the original motor is it? Too bad.

Depends on the Heads...did they use the factory heads and cam from the original engine...If yes - then it is Stage 1. I didn't hear a cam lope....thinking just standard 455.
