I remember visiting Honda dealerships in the early 70s. There were rows of these 750s with all kinds of paint jobs. Great memories.

I am the guy that Ken Kaplan bought that bike from and the '79 Bonneville he mentions. The whole crew at the New England Motorcycle Museum were a pleasure to work with.

Tell Sr. I love him, and love the details but he needs to take your que on the SS video and let us hear more bike and less gum flapping when riding a demo. And as much, I’d love a separate video on the facility updates from him. I’m new onboard with you guys, but just thrilled to bits with what y’all are doin up there. Awesome stuff.

This was my first bike back in Japan. Loved it so many memories of running wild thru Tokyo on it 😂 Wish I had one over here in Scotland. Currently on Harley FXDB Street Bob but changing soon to a Yamaha XV1900 - cant wait!

Had a 1971 Honda 750 just like this one. Painted orange. I took the chrome trim off the gas tank rim. I Finally had to sell it as it was hard to take a date out in February (lived in Michigan). I miss that bike

You guys have presented some lovely bikes during the years. It's a pleasure to see your passion flare up once you've got your hands on a particularly nice vintage bike. Displacement is not so important but rather the whole package, like the few Honda CB400 super sport you had on the channel. Brilliant!

Beautiful 750. Had a candy garnet brown '71. I was fascinated with that bike. The sound those 4 pipes and mufflers emitted was pure music. At the time, a guy down the street had a new BSA Rocket 3. We went at it daily. My 750 was quicker and definitely more dependable. That 3 cylinder sounded sweet though. Wish I had a time machine. Thanks for the video. I get watery eyes looking at it.

I had a CB750 exactly like this (same color) during my senior year in high school (1972), loved that bike. Unfortunately sold it to buy a car as it’s hard to take a date out in the middle of Michigan winters on it while in college.

Surely the Honda CB 750 is the most iconic motorcycle of the latter half of the 20th century. There have been many great bikes since then, but the CB started it all.

Yes sireee I had me one o these ‘supa-bikes’ here in the north of England in 1971 when most British bikers were still running Bonnies and Commandos. I had come from a Velocette Thruxton (no slouch in-itself and I could make it go ) but the Honda 4 was something else, a magic carpet, luxury of luxuries, a machine that could blow most other road users into the weeds, it would cruise along all day at 100mph with summat in reserve - i kid you not. It handled extremely well, better in fact after I had fitted Koni rear shocks and changed the oil viscosity in the front forks. often carried a pillion passenger (the wife god bless her she must have not known fear) l was 24 yr old and loved speed, rain or shine. The only other noticeable mods I made were to fit a pair of Dunlop K81’s, lower / narrower handlebars and to make new, 2”higher / 1” shorter, pillion foot pegs (because with a passenger on board the originals were the first point of contact when cornering. I wish I had my time in the 70’s over again and although my biking days are behind me now, the latest offerings don’t stir me, I like to watch MotoGp now those guys are truly the kings of speed.

1971 was arguably the better model than the previous year. due to the improved throttle pickup/carb linkage, but does anyone know why Honda lowered the red line from 8,500 to 8,000 RPM ? I was about to buy a '71 from a local guy, way back in 1974 but luckily got pipped to the post, as I later met the buyer, it had a twisted crankshaft and was impossible to time correctly. I recall feeling a sense of relief, sat astride my Trident T150V, in my place of work with the glum chap's wife as he dropped her off there. Did buy a new SOHC 750 F2 in 1977 but it wasn't a great bike, had a lousy gearbox with false neutrals galore and was much heavier. Sold it long before the top end valve issues arose, but not before the fork oil seals failed, twice. That was the only Honda I ever bought.

Droolable bike and enjoyable video. Thanks for this sir. Love from Bengaloor, India. I wish Honda and other japanese motorcycle companies start thinking about producing these bikes again. Its enough if they keep everything as original and just enhance the safety features. Am sure those will sell out instantly. Thanks again for making this video sir. Just one question, can u let me know the color code of this orange? It will be very helpful for me as i am looking to have this color on my Honda CD 200. Thanks and regards. Peace!

there is also a mistake in the left side cover paint. The entire cover should not be painted gold but rather the bottom tab is painted black to simulate a smooth linear bottom.

Of course we know it's a 750 but which model..? You guys never show the model numbers on the case. Because with the E model you could build these motors up to 1000cc. I know I own one and it was an 836cc a very reliable build. Could do 135 on it. Rode it for 18 years. Never had a problem.

If you are going to promote yourself and your business professionly please take more care about promoting safe riding behaviors as well. Thanks Nick

But why the HELL are you pumping these bikes up when i viewed no less than 5 of your museum quality bikes that have new mismatched tires. drives me and prob others friggen nuts!!
