I love that it still had the hints of the 69 El Dorado and Coupe de Ville.

That Cadillac is 50 years old. In 1971 a 50 year old car would be a 1921 model. This 1971 still looks like a contemporary to the 2021 models but a 1921 model car would look so antiquated in comparison.

It's a very interesting and beautiful car, I'm disappointed that Cadillac didn't put a rear seat armrest in these luxury vehicles, I can tell the quality control isn't great seeing the glove box closure, but hey you could nitpic these all day long, it's a '70s GM all day long, but still quite. Spectacular vehicle of the times & excellent condition indeed!! Great Car, Great video 👍

You are preaching to the choir. 👏 It still hurts my heart to see one all ragged out. That once upon a time was someone's dream car.😢

So, 1971 is the first year of the convertible on this FWD Eldo chassis, right? The sleeker 1967 - 1970 Eldo's had no convertible option. I like the prior model better

BTW there are one or two custom 1968 Eldorado Convertibles. KZread won't allow a link, but search for it and you'll see one of the most gorgeous cars period!

Why did Cadillac put the wiper controls on the driver door on so many models? It seems out of place. Did they just not have enough room on the dash area?
