Love these. I have a 75 Grand Ville convertible and all the 71-75 GM full size converts shared the same top/windshield/side glass...the infamous scissor top...in fact mine has a few parts of a junked Eldo to get it to work. Really a unique top operation. In the late 70's I was a lot boy for a few dealerships...a magical time when muscle cars were plentiful and cheap. Anyway, one of the biggest burnouts i ever did in a dealer car was in a '72 Eldo...i swear it went for a block. Rivaled the champ which was a 76 T/A with a 455 4speed. No replacement for displacement

That's so wild. And yeah that's right the scissor top, I totally forgot about that.
Now that's a fun weekend convertible, it screams "get out of my way!!"

Oh very much so
I believe the 1967 Cadillac Eldorado was the first front-wheel drive for Cadillac. Also that 8.1 averaged 10-12 per mile.
