A couple seconds after this ended you would see the snow and hear the white noise when the station went off the air.

HOLY COW!!!! You did not just say, "Davey and Goliath"?? I had a paper route as a kid. My Sunday mornings were spent, making two separate trips, (Sunday's were full of comics and coupons) and coming back home, and watching "Davey and Goliath" , "The Little Rascals", "Popeye and His Friends (including Super Chicken, Tom Slick, and George of the Jungle), and finally, "The Sunday Film Festival, starring Tom Hatten"!!!! GOOD TIMES!!

I remember listening to this late at night at the end of local channel broadcasting before cable, streaming, etc. came out, depending on which channel. Sometimes they would play "You'll Never Walk Alone" by The Lettermen or just play the National Anthem

POLARIZATION is the key here, and taking full advantage of it is the route to victory. Everything your enemy does is WRONG. What would you think of a TV commercial that praised a competitor's product, do you think that would be a good idea or should those admen be fired? This is the same situation. I have nothing against the monogamous, but upholding their way of life as the exemplar is a clear example of the sort of cultural hegemony we're supposed to be against. It's okay to have feelings for anyone, that's a natural part of the human experience. But you had better make darned sure your primary partner is down with that before you start crossing those kinds of lines. Don't just spring it on them, communication and cooperation are essential for any good relationship.
