I have a 70 built in Atlanta! Mine is Tuxedo black with white stripes. I’ve had it for 20years and I’ll never part with it! I was 13 when I remember falling in love with a red and black striped 70 at a car show and knew one day I’d have one. In 02 my high school sweetheart (now my wife of 16 years) told me about the car I’d eventually own. It’s been a part of the family ever since. It’s far from original now as it had a 73 replacement 454 when I bought it. I made it my own and have so many great stories over the years building it with friends and family. I love these cars whether they’re all original or highly modified.

Mr. Nickles You are living the dream of many 50 plus year old men in the United States, I drool over this model of Chevelle, this has been my dream car for a life time, I remember being 14 years old and looking over the door jam of a 1970 SS Convertible in 1978, the car was eight years old, white with black strips and black top, automatic 454 450 ls6, the dealer was asking 4500.00 for the car, I dreamt of that car for years and have always had a soft spot in my hear for this model.

I just saw a Shop Steam Clean a 1968 Z-28 and used Steel-wool and Chrome Cleaner. It's cool. They just clean it and get it running. That's the way the Hobby was back in 1977. @@jimthomas1989 my memory is not that good, plus it’s been over 40 years since I built a Muncie. I think I had the big shaft in a M-21. The reason they started calling an M-22 a rock crusher is because of the straight cut gears in first gear. Straight cut gears are very noisy.

Nice car , But Wrong color , Wrong Gear ratio , Wrong everything as far as paying up the nose for something like this . The LS6 Is the only factor that makes it valuable . How does someone order an LS6 without the Cowl induction hood and a 4 speed with only a 3:31 ratio . Had to be a dealer ordered car . Not a gear head wanting to be The king of the street " in a more attractive Color "

There are more out there. These cars were hoarded and the guys who bought them in the late 70’s are still relatively young early 60’s.
