I was in the last year of school when I watched this back in ‘88 and i would sit in class thinking, “that’s it, I’m getting a VW bus when I get out of here and I’m gonna hit the road”. When I left I did exactly that. I loaded up and drove to the south of France, getting stoned all the way. Man those campers are unreliable. 😂 Good times though and this movie made me do it ✌️

I went to GA Southern University in Statesboro, where this was filmed. Walton Goggins also went to school there briefly before he reeked to Hollywood and became a star.

I was 16 in 1988 in USA.....To me it seemed like from 1969 to 1989 that everything seemed to change drastically in only 20 yrs...By 1989 everything looked completely different and much more modern. But from 2000 to 2020 it doesn't seem like much has changed. Not sure if it's just me or if everything has always changed at the same steady gradual pace since 1969. Same with the 1930s to 50s, it didn't look much different or drastically changed.

I bought the DVD only for kiefer Sutherland he's so adorable and such nerd . I love his glasses and long hair. Beth is right. Scottie is pretty .
