It’s no secret that Mopar made some of the coolest and meanest Muscle Cars on the planet, but this 1969 Dodge Charger Restomod takes it to the next level! Josh grew up hearing stories of his dad’s 69 Charger 440 from back in the day and Josh wanted to give his dad the ultimate nostalgic gift: a ’69 Charger R/T! Josh surprised his dad with a project Charger with a 5 year build goal and with help from a few shops, the duo completed the project in 3 1/2 short years. This ’69 Charger now hauls ass with a 5.7 HEMI sourced from a retired police interceptor and you can turn up the volume with exhaust cutouts which sound incredible! This Charger is basically brand new inside and out, and so far it has been a blast for Josh and his dad to enjoy together. What do you think of this beast? Leave a comment below!

After learning to drive in mom's Fiat Sports Coupe playing "catch me if you can" with my neighbor in his dad's '72 Camero, I bought my first car from my mom's co-worker's ex-husband... It was a '69 RT Charger, totally stock, except for the paint.... and I miss it... dearly! I dream of having another like that car... I still can't believe how lucky I was to have a car like that as a teenager! Thanks for the memories guys! 😎

For sure, the cup holders are a necessity and we love the usb port. what would you put in yours?

@@RestoMods I would hide the USB ports in the console, but as long as it goes from the front all they through the backseat, I can convince myself into anything.
SICK CAR... the '69 RT I was lucky to have back in the early 80's was cool... wish I still had it... this thing is a beast!

I love restomods so much. But I hate with a passion people who built restomods and customize the body,bumpers,grill,hood,mirrors etc make it look like another car. Waste of money and ruins a rare classic car. But this build is very nice. It's got all the restomod things youd want but it still looks like a dodge charger. Love it great job.
God, what a wonderful car this is. When I start to think that it is unlikely that I can ever buy it, tears come to my mind. I'm from Ukraine.

When I get a 1969 Dodge Charger the first thing I will do is jump in the window just like the Duke boys.

This is a nice car, but it was massively disappointing to see a 5.7L engine in there, looking all terrible. He doesn't say what year the engine is, so it could be the 330 HP engine making this cars bark worse than its bite.

I’ve heard that the 375whp 5.7L block can handle a supercharger better than the 6.1L 👀

Sort of confused since the music cuts entirely during the engine sound portion but 🤷🏻♂️
The classic charger and challenger are my favorite muscle cars wish I could have a charger Here in india they cost a fortune to import and also the fuel consumption is rediculus Maybe I have to build one from scratch to enjoy driving a charger

This is the true pure American muscle because of today's society is selling plastic shit 😑 this is real muscle society 😎
I'm old school. The Magnum 500s at 15" possibly with redline tires would look FAR, FAR better than this tire/wheel combo. Folks, the reason new cars get away with large 19" rims is because the body work was designed for it.

Saw that too. Really dislike what they did. Paint is a great color: that's the only good thing I can think to say. Wish they'd built up the 440 instead of that little 5.7L

I think SE was an option pkg for the interior so,an R/T with an SE pkg is very possible. I get that it’s a RESTOMOD and personal touches are great but,it DOES kinda irk me a bit to see a ‘68 R/T stripe on a ‘69 Charger. Still looks pretty good,though.
