1969 L88 Corvette Coupe (1 of only 116)
This car features the iconic 427 Big Block featuring Aluminum Heads
and a high 12.5:1 compression ratio.
Factory rating on the HP = 430, but in actuality it is said to be around 550 HP.
Remember mfg.s put out “Fake News”. Nobody wanted the insurance companies to
know they were covering race cars on the street. 430 was already high, but 550?
The L88 was introduced in 1967 and appears in only 20 cars.
In 1968, 80 cars were equipped with the L88 and in 1969, 116 cars.
