Lovely to see this. In 1967 in Australia, I delivered a brand new 650 Bonneville in this colour but in American spec tank and handlbars. Beautifully proportioned, wonderful sound and exciting to ride. Still riding at 79, but on something within my budget. There's still no known cure for two wheeled excitement!

Mate, you've done it again!! This is one gobsmackingly awesome machine. I dare say that it is better than new. Brings a lump to the throat of an old bloke like me. A real credit to someone and to the British art of making motorcycles.

Gorgeous!! Does the 750 change lead to more vibration, as Mr. Turner warned? SIngle carb - much better - similar torque, a tad less HP, much easier maintenance / tuning. Some folks switched a single, larger (34mm) Mikuni or Keihin. Electronic ignition? Good tire mix: Avon Speedmaster on front? K-70 OK for rear tire only.

I'm all for the simplicity of the Morgo single carb setup but a modern carb would transform this engine, something like a big 50mm keihin carb or even a Lectron,

1967 T100 Daytona owner here. That is a lovely Bonny. Twin carbs are gruntier though.

Hi mate. Is the single carb conversion just a bolt off bolt on job? I have a T120 and fancy the single carb for the ease. But don't fancy cutting bits off or welding bits on

@John-vo6sf Hi, You will need to change the cylinder head for a TR6/TR6R head and inlet manifold of the same year, preferably. You will be able to use your right hand carb. These parts are all bolt off, bolt on, and nothing will need welding or fabricating.
