Wow, what a beautiful Jag! My dad had a 1967 420 automatic in the same color scheme. Good to see this wonderful car is preserved so well!

That is a beautiful example of a fine Jaguar. I just wish could bring it back to the UK, I am lifelong Jaguar fan and owner.

Lovely. DH reg. originally registered in the town of Walsall, Staffordshire, England. "E" suffix plates issued between 1st January to 31st July 1967 in the UK.

Very clean car, incredible how well it's held up for being used so little. Runs like a Swiss watch. British gangsters had an affinity for these six-cylinder Jags because of their powerful engines, nice interiors (wool, leather and burled wood) and their ability to carry five or six people with little effort. This was a statement car in general because it was not cheap to buy nor maintain (still isn't) and an immediate reflection of the owner's discerningly good taste.

That car is beautiful

My dad punted a Bedford rascal van 50ft up the road in one of these when it pulled out in front of him... Totalled the car and the van...

Yes we are very lucky to have a 420 ...especially manual versión s , a rare car in the day and very rare today .what condition is yours in ?

@@biroldjoshan3745 It's in great shape. A Southern car with zero rust, recently replaced wire wheels & interior. Basically new everything front to back but with a novice type paint job. The HVAC, ignition system, & fuel systems are all of modern parts for a more reliable Jag. Paint is a back yard special, but I don't care, it's a driver! How about yours?

Hi , sorry for late reply , yours sounds really good , mine has had new suspensión all round , high toque starter motor , Electronic ignition, sports coil, the wood dash restored , drivers seat needs little attention , user friendly clutch (light) to use , and yes the body needs a little work but very tidy still . Keep up the good work and enjoy your car

21mpg if you go easy. 16mpg if you give some welly.

420 G's were a bit too big for British rural areas. I much prefer the dimensions of this 420, but the quality you spoke of still applies. Best regards from Wales.
