Thanks 👍Brandon's Dad built the bed and did such an incredible job on it. One of my favorite features of the truck!

You know I like that truck. Started driving mine a little. Thanks for the inspiration and the great advice to build my 69 base. Truck.
Great video truck looks sweet I love the stance the FE sounds awesome.
Awesome truck, best part is it has a meaning to him and his ol’man. That FE with 4.11 gears is prob a handful when that skinny pedal hits the floor.
Cant believe more of the Ford truck fellas arent subscribed to this channel. Fred is a good example keep doin those reveils. Thanks man

Thanks! White and red definitely work well together.
Dude I love it. Exactly the kind of build I'd like to do something pretty straight forward and not complicated. Great looking truck!
I love it awesome build 😎
Nice job 👍🏻. Truck sits good and sounds amazing! I was starting to worry…you hadn’t posted anything in awhile. Great choice on the engine, I love the old school motors instead of the new school stuff. Coyotes and Godzillas have their place but it’s in late models in my opinion. Very nice!
PAINT IT !
Yes sir! Keep up the work man. Badazz
Very nice build and I really like the low profile without using the crown Vic frame configuration. Not putting that down just really like this better. Now all I need is to win the power ball! 😝 thanks for the tour!

Thanks Rich! I appreciate the comments. Most of these are built within a budget, but you know how that goes....😆
great job CUZZ
If you could find (or make) an "E" you could change out the lettering on the hood to "F R E D" :) I might do that as my grandpa, Fred, is the one I rode with as a kid in his trucks! ✌

Ha! That's brilliant. My Papa's name was Fred, as well! Also the reason I love Ford trucks. He was an electrician and always drove Ford.

@@hueyfabllc4987 Yeah, my gpa was an engineer and his company fixed tankers (oil, etc) from China, Russia, etc. All he needed was his truck, pipe (or cigar) and the racing form...simple but amazing man. The truck I have ('68) is in his memory...back when you could ride in the bed!
Got a 67 myself....really love them...got a ways to go but fresh motor lowerd the rear 4 inches notched the frame lowered the front end 3 inches.rebuilt the trans mission and rear end.. swapped a 300 six in it...with dual Webber carbs a Clifford performance intake and headers new radiator new efi distributor frame off restoration...getting there

They all come together the same, piece by piece! I love a 67 too....so many little, one year only things that just make them a little different. Keep grinding on it! We gotta keep the 67s running!

Awsome looking truck! I thought I was subscribed this whole time something reminded of ur channel today
Love frank but I believe Fred has a lot more meaning!!! Nice ride brotha!!
Would love to see how he uses the stock filler neck with the mustang tank
Awesome. I’m so excited to start on a build but I’m nervous of the price of gas. There is a definitive agenda to phase out gas engines and private vehicle ownership. In other words they’re going to do everything they can to inflate the cost of gas, raise fuel taxes, invent new vehicle taxes and make it as difficult as possible for us to operate our beloved trucks.

@@hueyfabllc4987 True. It might help to move out of California as well!
Beautiful work! Is there a particular year of crown Vic & of the ‘96 to ‘01 Explorer rear that work best for that wheel set up? Also, what C-notch did u go with?
What size is the front wheels and backspacing? Love the truck!
Fred, Frank it’s getting confusing. Joking aside both great trucks. Looking forward to seeing what you’re working on
Regarding the armrest, 67's did not have them. '68 was the first year to come with an armrest and the door handle also changed. In '67 the door lock was also the door lever. Then in '68 the door lock moved up by the window.

Absolutely not true in regards to the armrest. My ‘67 Ranger sitting out front I’ve had for decades always had them. It does have the door lever locks.
Can the ford explorer mount plate be used with the stock differential?
Did you use the stock u-bolts or the ones off a Ford Explorer?
Can you give me the spec of the wheels and tires front and rear or where I can find them seen them some time back but can’t remember were
Just found your channel and like your content. Your background music is way louder than you voice track if you're interested.
Did you have to shorten the rear any or what the width correct for those wheels etc? Thanks man. Nice truck. I picked up a 69 shortbed today super excited to start on it.

This is an 8.8 rear from a 96-01 Ford Explorer. They are 59" wide and can be found with a few good gear options, limited slip, and 31 spline axles in 4wd models.
What headers are you running I have a 68 with the same engine set up as yours

If memory serves, these were stainless 4wd longtubes that came from ebay.

Not sure if i heard right. Are you using a Ford Explorer differential?
I am running a 5.0 explorer motor swap, and I am looking to hook up my fuel system now, what efi tank would work? I'm drawing a blank.

@@hueyfabllc4987 what year model? I have done some research , but I haven't seen but one build like mine with the explorer 5.0. I just wanted a good driver , didn't really need huge horsepower. That could come later. Thanks for your reply. I am trying to make it to the F100 pigeon forge show this year if I can get it going. I live in western North Carolina, about an hour away.
What cam is in the truck??
What year mustang tank?
